IN STEM Teacher Grants
To date, $65,000 has been awarded to teachers at 180 Indiana schools, impacting 15,000 students.
Since 2013, the IN STEM (formerly EnablINg STEM) teacher grant program has been helping to eliminate financial barriers that prevent teachers from bringing their amazing STEM ideas to the classroom.
The IN STEM Teacher Grant cycle is currently open and will close on November 1, 2019.
All applications must be submitted by October 31, 2019.
Successful applicants will be notified by November 22, 2019.
All granted activities must be completed by May 31, 2020.

WHO CAN APPLY?
The IN STEM program is open to all Indiana K-8th grade classroom teachers.
WHAT IS THE judging CRITERIA?
Awarding of grants is based on:
Enhancement of existing curriculum
Implementation of hands-on, inquiry-based STEM classroom activities
Please note that emphasis is placed on programs that are sustainable beyond the grant period.
HOW MUCH IS PROVIDED?
Grants range from $75-$500 to use on classroom equipment and supplies to bring STEM activities to the classroom.
What is an example of a STEM activity?
STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) activities encourage students to solve problems, think critically, research, explore, and collaborate. Some examples of previously funded IN STEM teacher projects can be found in our STEM Project Library.
