RUPAL THANAWALA

Rupal is an account executive at Accenture, where she provides innovative consulting solutions in the areas of digital technology, application management, outsourcing, security, and infrastructure. She has over 23 years of experience in a wide range of industries from start-ups to established corporations, and she is recognized as a trusted advisor to CIOs.

Rupal is actively engaged in multiple community and corporate responsibility projects focusing on diversity and inclusion, youth enrichment, and healthcare issues. She has served on multiple committees and held several leadership roles at United Way of Central Indiana, Asian American Alliance, Health Science and Innovations, and TheSnapLink – Alzheimer Advocacy group. She is also involved with the Mayor’s Celebration on Diversity, the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball and Go Red For Women event, and Indiana’s bicentennial celebration, “Ignite the Future.”

Rupal is the Diversity & Inclusion Champion for Accenture Indiana and also serves as the liaison for Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), Women & Hi Tech, Healthcare Businesswomen Association (HBA), Girls Who Code, and acts as the IU/Purdue recruitment diversity lead.

Rupal earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Mumbai University and Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.
