Director of Advancement
As Director of Advancement, Sarah is responsible for the strategic direction of TechPoint Foundation for Youth's fundraising efforts including annual campaigns, fundraising events, major gifts and planned giving. She brings more than 15 years of experience in both youth development and fundraising to the team, most recently serving as the Director of Strategic Advancement at the Indiana Youth Institute. She is passionate about the impact that caring adult volunteers can have on youth, helping them to develop the skills they need for a better future. In 2017, she was named Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana’s “Big Sister of Year,” after being matched with her Little Sister for eight years.
She holds a bachelor of arts in sociology from Ball State University and a master of public affairs with a concentration in nonprofit management from IUPUI. An AmeriCorps alumnae, she is proud to continue “getting things done for America” through her personal and professional contributions to the nonprofit sector in Indianapolis.
Sarah lives in downtown Indianapolis, and when she’s not working, she enjoys exploring her home city’s food and drink scene, traveling, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Blues, playing trivia, and writing.
