STEM Partners is an innovative program that connects talented teachers with experienced STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) professionals to implement hands-on, minds-on curriculum. Employees from companies like Lilly, Rolls-Royce, and more are invited to volunteer as "STEM Partners" for the duration of a school year. These STEM Partners work 1:1 with a teacher for 4-6 hours per month to create and enrich the STEM learning environment in his or her classroom. Check out the information below to learn more about this exciting program and shoot us an email at STEMPartners@TechPointYouth.Org with questions!

What is STEM?
The STEM acronym stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. However, when we talk about teaching STEM Skills, we're teaching more than just STEM subject matter.
STEM Skills include important capabilities like critical thinking and problem-solving that will help students succeed in future careers in STEM and non-STEM fields. The STEM Partners program enriches the learning environment in Indiana classrooms to help more students master these important competencies.
