Hour of Code

Each December, TPF4Y celebrates Computer Science Education Week by providing schools in Indiana with the resources they need to complete an Hour of Code activity. Since 2014, we've grown our Hour of Code event from a one-hour celebration impacting 375 students, to a multi-day, multi-school event engaging 10,000+ students all over the state. Check below for more information on how to get involved!

State-wide Hour of Code

This year, TechPoint Foundation for Youth is providing classrooms all over the state with the resources they need to safely code in the classroom.

Take the pledge below and join the already thousands of students dedicated to coding during computer science week. Last year we had 10,000 students in Indiana who made the pledge to code. We want to raise that number even higher!

Code with VEX GO

New for this year’s Hour of Code, we are encouraging all our VEX GO classrooms to make the pledge to code.

You can find lessons for first time coders or experienced coders on the VEXcode website

In the STEM Lesson Library, you will find a list of coding activities to use in your class for the Hour of Code. All you need to do is select the “coding” filter on the left hand side to find the relevant activities.

You can find all the information on the activities at this LINK
