TechPoint Youth Announces Brei Cecil-Satchwell as Chief Operating Officer

TechPoint Youth is thrilled to announce the appointment of Brei Cecil-Satchwell as Chief Operating Officer. She brings over 18 years of experience in nonprofit finance, operations, and fundraising strategy, and her presence represents a meaningful homecoming for TechPoint Youth and those that have been part of its story.

Brei's legacy with TechPoint Youth began a decade ago when she joined the organization for the first time as Grant and Fund Manager. Over the years she moved through progressive leadership roles, ultimately rising to Vice President of Foundation Operations. She was foundational in building what TechPoint Youth is today, driving organizational strategy, overseeing financial systems, and supporting the growth of TechPoint Youth's statewide programming, including helping Indiana's robotics initiative become one of the largest programs of its kind in the country. Her contributions during that time were recognized in 2022 with a Women & Hi Tech Leading Light Award in the Risk Taker category, an honor given to women who demonstrate courage in driving purposeful change, often at personal or professional cost.

When Brei stepped away in 2024, she took time to be present for her family before founding The Ladder, LLC, where she helped mission-driven organizations build strong financial foundations and grow with confidence. That season deepened her expertise and eventually brought her full circle back to this organization, a fitting next chapter for someone who has never been afraid to take the purposeful leap.

"Returning to TechPoint Youth feels like coming home," said Cecil-Satchwell. "I gave so much of myself to this organization in its earlier years, and I never stopped believing in what it was capable of. To step back in now with a bold strategic vision ahead of us and so much momentum behind us, is something I don't take lightly. I'm ready and excited to help make sure we have the foundation and systems to go far."

As COO, Brei will serve as a strategic partner to President & CEO Jamie Inskeep, providing executive leadership across finance, HR, data, compliance, and organizational operations. Those who have worked with her describe her as a true light, a woman who leads with clarity, joy, and kindness.

"Brei helped build this organization into what it is, and I can't think of a better partner to help lead it into what it becomes," said Jamie Inskeep, President & CEO. "She brings institutional knowledge and leads with the kind of integrity, care, and excellence that makes everyone around her better."

"The board is proud to welcome Brei back to the organization," said Kristina Simkins, Board President. "She was foundational to building TechPoint Youth into what it is today and has remained a consistent champion for the organization and our mission. Brei’s return at this pivotal moment gives us tremendous confidence in where this organization is headed."

TechPoint Youth’s mission has always been to ensure every Indiana student has access to the STEM experiences that can change their trajectory, and now the team building toward that future includes someone who has believed in it from the very start.
